You now have Zigbee smart switches and/or lights, along with a Zigbee hub/gateway that serves as the brain of the system. For the best performance, the hub should be placed in a high, central spot in your home. The hub connects to your WiFi router with a network cable and is powered by USB or 5vdc. The WiFi router location may dictate where you install the Zigbee Hub/Gateway.
